Job summary

Magna International is seeking an Area Leader for Material Planning and Logistics at Montezuma Manufacturing. You will supervise the shipping and receiving workflow across all three shifts and provide daily support for material planning initiatives.

The role requires strong organizational and supervisory abilities, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a dynamic factory environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and crane certificates within six months of starting.
• Develop understanding of shipping/receiving processes within first three months.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping/receiving workflow across all shifts.
• Provide support for daily activities and material planning projects.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving safely and efficiently to meet priorities.
• Ensure employees use communication tools and report status.
• Develop associates through coaching and mentoring; conduct performance evaluations.
