Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a Materials Manager to identify and deliver best practices in materials management across a multi-plant network. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, inventory control, receiving, and distribution while driving continuous improvement and adherence to policies.

You will lead a team to achieve 95% on-time shipment, manage supplier performance, and optimize inventory utilization with a drive for exemplary customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of people management experience, with planning, receiving, material handling, and inventory control.
• Leadership capability in a fast-paced, customer-centric operation.

Responsibilities

• Direct Material Buyer/Planners’ activities to enable operations while optimizing inventory and freight costs.
• Optimize MRP functionality and reporting tools for efficient planning and scheduling.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams, internal customers, and external suppliers.
• Control inventory levels and develop strategies to improve turns and PFEP alignment.
• Manage supplier performance in Power BI and collaborate with Procurement.
