Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5–12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills and knowledge of materials management for construction projects.
• Experience with inventory control, storage, and just-in-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Supervises material management operations of personnel on a small-to-medium project to ensure conformance to policies and procedures.
• Identifies the need and coordinates actions for material and equipment received at project locations.
• Initiates actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment deemed excess to project needs.
• Recommends long-range staffing and assists in coordinating timely staffing of positions.
• Prepares facilities and equipment recommendations for material management operations at project locations.
• Directs the development of procedures establishing material management responsibilities and methods of operation.
• Reviews performance to ensure staffing aligns with project procurement procedures.
• Assists in establishing a program to dispose of surplus materials and equipment.
