Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Spokane, WA is seeking laboratory technicians to turn field samples into precise test results. You will work inside a documented quality system with calibrated equipment and full accountability for every result that leaves the lab.

You will perform standard ASTM tests, log samples, maintain records, and support proficiency and accreditation activities. This is a facility-based role with potential field sampling support when schedules require it.

Qualifications

• Careful hands and clean documentation habits are essential.
• Prior lab or CMT experience is a plus, but not required — we train.
• Comfortable with repetitive precision work and doing things right every time.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, and C39 testing.
• Maintain calibration, standardization, and quality records.
• Log samples and preserve chain of custody.
• Break cylinders and report strength results the same day.
• Support proficiency sample programs and accreditation assessments.
