Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Materials Kitting & Inventory Control Specialist. You will receive inbound materials, verify counts, rotate stock, identify parts, and track shelf life to keep operations moving smoothly.

The role involves packaging upgrade kits and documenting inventory transactions for timely deliveries. The position offers hands-on work with real products, a strong team culture, and clear pathways for skill and career growth.

Qualifications

  • 6–12+ months of material handling experience.
  • Comfort with basic computer use for tracking and instruction following.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand, handle materials, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, count, stock, and move raw materials to production and shipping.
  • Ensure accurate counts, packaging quality, stock rotation, part ID, and shelf-life checks.
  • Sort and inspect returned material; validate warranty eligibility.
  • Record precise inventory transactions for all receipts and deliveries.
  • Prepare, configure, and package upgrade kits for on-time delivery.

Materials Kitting & Inventory Control SpecialistJoin PDS Tech Commercial in partnership with an industry leader in Richardson, TX, and spend your day moving work forward—not sitting behind a desk. You will be part of a close-knit team that builds excellence one part, one kit, and one shipment at a time.A day in this roleStart your shift (first or second) with a quick team huddle. You will receive inbound materials, verify counts, and move items to the right production or shipping location. As the day unfolds, you will rotate stock, confirm part identification, and track shelf life to keep everything flowing smoothly.
