Job summary

Torrey Holistics in the United States is seeking a Materials Flow and Inventory Control Coordinator to keep receipts, stock levels, and outbound orders aligned. You reconcile overnight deliveries, resolve receiving issues, and ensure materials are where production teams need them.

Afternoons you partner with engineering on CN allocations and inventory adjustments, perform cycle counts and ISL audits, track bin consumption, and keep data rock solid.

Step into the role of Materials Flow and Inventory Control CoordinatorImagine starting your day with a fresh dashboard of receipts, stock levels, and outbound orders. You reconcile what arrived overnight, clear up any receiving issues, and make sure materials are exactly where teams need them. Midday, you partner with engineering on CN-related allocations and inventory adjustments. By afternoon, you’re deep into cycle counts, ISL audits, and bin consumption tracking—tuning the material flow that keeps production moving. Throughout, you’re talking with internal and external customers, solving problems, and keeping the data rock solid.What you’ll make happenKeep inventory precise through timely, accurate system updates and data entry.Dig into discrepancies and system glitches; resolve root causes and prevent repeat issues.Spot and correct receiving errors so materials move quickly and cleanly.Watch stock levels and take action to prevent shortages or overages.Support engineering changes via allocation and inventory adjustments, including CN maintenance.Collaborate every day with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide exceptional service.Advance corporate material initiatives such as cycle counts, ISL (Inventory Stock Location) management, and bin consumption tracking.Note: This summary isn’t exhaustive; you may be asked to take on additional tasks as needed.Minimum qualificationsComfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.Willing and able to work overtime when business needs arise, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Dependable on-site presence and consistent attendance.Preferred strengthsClear, confident phone and written communication.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally.Good business judgment and situational awareness.6 months to 2 years of general office practice experience.Ability to pass an internal Powered Industrial Equipment license test and operate equipment in the Operations Facility (e.g., stand-up and sit-down trucks).Work environmentManufacturing/production setting with potential exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, and temperature changes.Physical expectations include standing for long periods; repetitive motions; lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds; pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds and up to 30 pounds sustained; and occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and tool/equipment use.PPE must be worn as required.Visual and auditory acuity are essential for safe equipment operation and communication.Reasonable accommodations will be considered for qualified individuals with disabilities to ensure access to all essential job functions.
