Job summary

Sealed Air in Ayer, MA is seeking a Materials Kitter to support our manufacturing process. You will pick parts from predefined lists, kit and store items, and verify materials against pick lists to ensure accuracy.

You will also record quantities, stock materials, and maintain clean, safe stock areas while following all safety rules. This role offers a morning shift with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions.
• Fluent reading/writing in English.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules at all times.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts from lists and kit items for production.
• Stock materials and maintain organized stock areas.
• Verify material by matching part numbers to pick lists.
• Record quantity and type of materials.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety practices and work overtime if needed.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Pick parts from lists
• Kit and store items in a safe, orderly, and accessible manner in warehouse or production areas as required
• Verify material being picked by matching part number on pick list to part number stamped or tagged on material.
• Record quantity and type of materials
• Stock materials
• Maintain all stock areas in a neat, clean, and safe working environment
• Assures a safe work environment through understanding and following safe work practices
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $19.00

Shift: Morning

Physical Requirements

• Personal Protective Equipment requirements: Safety-toed shoes and safety glasses. Hard hats and gloves may be required during certain tasks
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift standing, walking, bending, and/or reaching
• Ability to work overtime if needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Ability to read, understand and interpret instructions
• Ability to fluently speak, read, understand, and write English
