Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a NorthStar subsidiary, is seeking a dependable Utility Materials Technician to support fleet and field operations. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, perform local deliveries, and ensure accurate inventory control.

The role requires strong organization, urgency, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Grand Prairie, TX site with primarily daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/materials experience in utility/construction/fleet support.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Experience operating forklifts or material-handling equipment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors/in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
• Pull and stage materials for fleet and field teams.
• Perform local deliveries and pickups adhering to safety policies.
• Ensure materials are secured during transport and accurate before issuance.
• Load/unload trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, including packaging and labeling.
• Document receipts, deliveries, and inventory transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and yard spaces.
• Support inventory counts and stock replenishment.
