Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Material Specialist to accurately receive and store materials, distribute items to the production floor, and maintain tight inventory control in our warehouse. You will update ERP records, assist in cycle counts, and help ensure safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A fast-paced environment and overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment (forklift certification).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems and Microsoft Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Fast-paced warehouse manufacturing setting.
• Overtime, shift work, or weekend hours dependent on production needs.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and examine incoming materials, verify against POs and shipping docs.
• Store materials in designated areas using forklifts and update locations.
• Retrieve materials for jobs and distribute promptly and accurately.
• Maintain inventory in ERP system with up-to-date records.
• Safely move materials to production lines and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in cycle counts and annual inventory processes.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
