Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a Material Specialist to ensure accurate handling of inventory, tools, and supplies. You will coordinate receiving, packing, and shipping, monitor project schedules, and perform cycle counts while maintaining inventory records.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and teamwork in a warehouse setting. The position offers full benefits and a generous PTO plan, with standard Monday–Friday day shifts and potential for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staging, receiving, packing, and shipping.
• Monitor project shipping schedules and maintain inventories.
• Receive and distribute packages to New Era Technology personnel.
• Unpack and verify inventory against purchase orders or invoices.
• Print forms and generate slips to process orders and shipments.
• Ship orders to destination on time and in good condition.
• Record inventory transactions and generate reports.
• Manage inventory with cycle counts and locations.
• Perform inventory replenishments and maintain orderly warehouse.
• Assist Inventory Controller and keep work area clean.
