Job summary

Kimber Mfg., Inc. seeks a Material Utility Technician to support Shipping and Warehouse operations. You will ensure part availability at shift start and assist in the repair process to meet production goals, while maintaining accurate ERP inventory records.

Key responsibilities include material handling, moving parts to locations, and maintaining cycle counts. You will collaborate with Planning, Engineering and QC to manage ECNs, testing and recalls in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Vocational/Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform material handling operations and fulfill material requests.
• Move parts to designated locations and manage holding areas for non-conforming items.
• Maintain inventory records in the ERP system and perform cycle counts.
• Expedite parts from Production, Purchasing, QC and other Kimber Warehouses.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering and QC to control inventory for ECNs, testing and recalls.
