Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking a Material Handler to keep materials flowing through the production area. You will move raw materials and finished goods, use RF scanners, and help maintain inventory accuracy and organized storage. The role supports production flow and safety practices while following FIFO and kanban systems.

The position requires attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Training for forklift operation and safety will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with kanban/Heijunka systems.
• Proficient in Excel (intermediate level).
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials in and out of storage locations and ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow FIFO procedures for issuing materials.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and process transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Support production flow and continuous improvement and safety practices.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
