Qualifications

• Ability to perform the work of a Materials Examiner and Identifier with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, or manuals.
• Dexterity and safety in handling materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of materials and inventory handling.
• Attention to technical practices and precision.
• Strong work practices, neatness, and organization.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Classify items per technical manuals and stock catalogs.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assemble items for shipping according to receiving vouchers.
• Operate forklift trucks to lift loads up to 10,000 lbs.
• Input and manage inventory data using automated systems.
• Conduct periodic physical inventories and recounts.
