Job summary

Aegis Sortation in Mason, Ohio, is seeking an experienced engineer to join their Systems Concepting & Estimating group. The role involves developing designs for material handling systems and estimating project costs for new customer facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the material handling industry, and proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the material handling industry or related.
• Proficient knowledge of material handling system layout concepts.
• Ability to communicate, both orally and written, at all levels of the business and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Create material handling and sortation system designs and layouts using 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Develop estimates for equipment and integration costs for potential new projects.
• Travel to customer facilities to conduct site surveys for potential projects.
