Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to manage the lifecycle of material handling systems from order to customer acceptance. You will collaborate with various teams in a manufacturing setting to ensure timely project delivery that meets quality standards.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of engineering experience and strong skills in mechanical design and project management. This role requires a hands-on approach and proficiency with CAD software, including AutoCAD and Inventor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience focused on equipment, machinery, or conveyor design.
• 3+ years of project management experience leading technical or engineering projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical material handling projects from purchase through to customer acceptance.
• Develop mechanical system designs based on customer requirements.
• Produce and oversee the creation of bills of material (BOMs) for projects.
