PURPOSE:

Design and Production Inc. is a reliable and organized Materials Handler to support our electronic hardware shipping, receiving and inventory operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with prior experience and a strong work ethic who is comfortable with both physical work and using a computer for tracking and labeling. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods – ranging from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. – through our facility.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments of electronic hardware.
• Accurately label and organize parts and materials.
• Maintain inventory tracking using computer systems.
• Pick, pack and ship outgoing orders in a timely and organized manner.
• Coordinate with Federal Express and other carriers for daily drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Assist with general physical work in the department when time allows.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.

• Must be reliable with strong sense of responsibility.
