Job summary

Master Machine, a precision manufacturing and fabrication company in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and track materials and inventory across the facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
• Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production or customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Accurately verify quantities and product information against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Support shipping, receiving, and production teams as needed.

Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, storing, and tracking materials, products, and inventory throughout the facility. Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse or manufacturing facility environment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
• Overtime and flexible scheduling may be required based on business needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP, WMS, APS, or inventory control systems. Prior use of Global Shop ERP is a plus.
• Use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
