Performs work on hard surfaces. Frequently lifts items weighing up to 30 lbs, and at times, may lift heavier items with assistance of weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. Works both inside and outside subject to heat, cold, damp, drafty, or poorly lighted areas. Work may be dirty, dusty, and greasy. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, bruises, abrasions, aid falls. May be subject to exposure when working with hazardous materials. Requires the use of protective clothing such as safety shoes, hardhats, gloves, etc.
