Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Machine Operator experience
- Experience with Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs., stand and walk, climb stairs, and perform stooping, bending, and leaning tasks throughout the shift
- Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, and safety and quality conscious
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Valid Driver's License
- On-site training provided for forklift operation
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and visually inspect various automotive components
- Packing parts according to SOP instructions
- Operate and maintain Shot Blast equipment, loading and unloading components
- Clean shot blast room and work area throughout the shift
- Use computer systems and barcode scanners for lot traceability of components
- Understand production schedules and daily assembly requirements
- Support other operations during periods of low shot blast demand
