Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions and paperwork such as bills of materials and routing sheets.
• Ability to complete receiving and shipping paperwork accurately and on time.
• Effective communication with employees, truckers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and move raw materials, parts and components to proper locations.
• Pull materials per work orders or customer orders and deliver to manufacturing or shipping areas.
• Pack and crate products for shipment following standard packaging practices.
• Load finished products for shipment onto trucks or delivery vehicles.
• Schedule trucks and coordinate with carriers; follow up on orders and ship confirmations.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and ensure safe operation.
• Complete required computer transactions and paperwork; maintain housekeeping.
