Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to relocate and organize production materials with focus on safety and efficiency. You will pick, move, and deliver items to the correct stations using forklifts and tow motors, while tracking movements in the MRP system.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, storing items by system, and maintaining equipment readiness. Must have prior material handling experience and strong teamwork for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) while performing duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
• Basic math knowledge (measures, weights, fractions) used in material handling.
• Experience as a Materials Handler and safe material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material needs and pick, move, and deliver materials to machines or production areas using forklifts and tow motors.
• Track inventory movements by scanning labels and entering data into MRP.
• Load/unload freight and materials from loading docks and vehicles.
• Sort and store materials according to the department’s system and attach identifying tags.
• Maintain organization of equipment storage areas and verify machinery readiness.
