Job summary

NxEdge, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support Precision Machining & Assembly operations by moving materials, staging for production, and transporting goods between facilities and approved locations. You will help maintain production flow, track inventory in ERP, and follow DOT/safety regulations.

The role includes loading/unloading with forklifts, performing cycle counts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery targets while upholding 5S and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company insurance requirements.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; NxEdge provides certification if needed.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, components, tooling, and finished goods to designated work centers.
• Stage materials for machining, assembly, inspection, and shipping according to production schedules.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other approved equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement through ERP transactions, labeling, and documentation.
• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation activities.
