Job summary

Magnera is seeking a Manufacturing Operator at the Augusta facility to safely move materials, monitor quality, and support lean initiatives. You will handle raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and scrap, ensuring accurate inventory and smooth production flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience; forklift license may be needed. You must read and follow procedures, use visual signals, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Machine Operator qualification is required.
• A forklift operator license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, work in process (WIP), finished goods, and scrap materials safely and timely.
• Replenish materials using signals, order cards, and other replenishment systems.
• Perform a pre-shift inspection of material handling equipment and document issues; remove from service as needed.
• Conduct visual inspection of incoming material and report quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain Kanbans and communicate issues to Material Purchasing Group.
• Participate in LEAN Manufacturing events and support LEAN programs.
• Follow all plant safety rules; support plant goals and Berry values.
• Other activities as assigned by Supervisor or Leads.
