Job summary

Magnera is seeking a Material Handler to safely move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods through the Augusta facility. You will replenish materials using visual signals and maintain accurate Kanbans while supporting LEAN manufacturing initiatives.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma or GED. A forklift license may be required, and adherence to safety rules is essential in this busy environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Qualified as a Machine Operator is required.
• A current Berry Global forklift operator license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely move raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and scrap materials throughout the facility.
• Replenish materials as requested using signals and replenishment systems.
• Perform pre-shift inspection of material handling equipment and document issues.
• Perform visual inspection of incoming material and report quality issues.
• Maintain Kanbans and communicate issues to Material Purchasing Group.
• Participate in LEAN Manufacturing events and support LEAN programs.
• Follow all plant safety rules and support plant goals and Berry values.
• Other activities as assigned by Supervisor or Leads.
