Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to ensure smooth material flow for autonomous maritime systems. You will receive, store, and ship materials, maintain accurate inventory, and coordinate with procurement and production teams.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, supporting lean initiatives, and ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a material handler or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to the handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against POs and packing slips.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas per safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory using electronic systems.
• Prepare and package materials for outbound shipments with proper labeling.
• Coordinate with procurement and production to fulfill material requests.
• Monitor stock levels and adjust orders to prevent shortages or overages.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize material flow.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for material transport.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
