Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Material Handler to move and track materials across raw, WIP, finished goods and shipping areas at our Mentor, OH site. You will unload/load trucks, verify documents, and log movements in our system.

This role supports inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and you will help maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse following 5S principles. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or 3+ years manufacturing experience), strong safety mindset, teamwork,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must regard safety as a core value and set a good example.
• Strong service and quality focus with root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work in a team and cross-train as needed.
• Proficient with computer applications, especially MFG Pro.

Responsibilities

• Move material between raw, WIP, finished, shipping, receiving, and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks and verify materials against documents.
• Record material movements in the Inventory Management System.
• Support inventory accuracy with cycle counts and discrepancy correction.
• Manage winding drum and rack inventories.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse area and participate in 5S.
• Lead recycling of pallets and scrap materials.
• Overtime as needed and coordinate with shifts.
