Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to move materials across the site, load/unload shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy. The role involves documentation, housekeeping, and coordination with production teams to support efficient operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and/or 3+ years in manufacturing, with strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team environment. The position is on-site in Mentor, OH.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.
• Must regard safety as a core value; must serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Move material to/from raw, WIP, Finished, Shipping, Receiving, and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials and verify documents.
• Document material movements in Inventory Management System and support inventory accuracy.
• Perform 5S housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and communicate operating information between shifts.
