Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Support role to handle pick-up, delivery, and stocking of materials across the campus using PIV equipment and scanners. The role ensures timely availability of supplies for assembly while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating PIV devices, following safety standards, and maintaining organized work areas; 40-hour work week with standard benefits in the US.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
• Basic reading and writing skills are required.
• Basic math knowledge is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to scan effectively to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain PIV license as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates various forms of PIV equipment to receive, deliver and store supplies
• Obtains work order to determine parts needed and delivery location
• Retrieves sub-assemblies and parts from storage locations
• Loads carts with required parts
• Stages completed carts in designated location
• Uses a scanner and/or tablet to manage transactions, transfer parts, perform inventory inquiries, maintenance counts, report outages
• Returns unused parts, empty containers, empty carts to designated storage/replenishment location
• Moves completed assemblies or boxed furniture into designated locations
• Follows health and safety standards.
• Maintains a clean workplace following 5S standards
• Performs other tasks as assigned
