Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Material Handler 2 in Rockville, MD to receive, store, and distribute materials and samples for testing operations. You will ensure inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance while handling equipment and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of industry experience or a high school diploma with 4+ years. DB access via Oracle ERP/LIMS is a plus, with opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of industry work experience.
• High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of industry work experience.
• Experience in a life science, biotechnology, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle ERP or LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials daily in line with quality procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts and ERP/LIMS transactions.
• Operate material handling equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and safety regulations.
• Support small department improvements and corrective actions as needed.
