Job summary

Royal Truck & Equipment is seeking a full-time Materials Handler to load and unload material, assist with assembly, and support inventory management. The role requires operating forklifts and cranes, plus basic hand tools, with some crane and air tool use for assembling truck bodies onto chassis.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, documentation, and occasional snow removal with a plow. Compensation and benefits are described by the Alamo Group as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of upfitting/vehicle assembly experience or related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operation of forklifts and cranes.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Work unscheduled hours as required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Operate forklift, cranes, and front end loaders.
• Drive delivery flatbed.
• Fill out documentation for kitting and cycle counting.
• Perform physical labor to lift parts.
• Count parts on packing slips and ensure accuracy.
• Use basic hand tools.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations.
