Job summary

Alamo Group's Royal Truck & Equipment unit seeks a full-time Materials Handler to load/unload, operate forklifts/cranes, and assist with assembly. Expect to count material, document cycles, and occasionally run equipment for snow removal.

Strong safety awareness and team play are essential for a busy shop environment. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and adaptability to an adjusted schedule as needed, with a schedule of Mon–Thu 6:00–4:30pm in a hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• = Minimum two years of upfitting/vehicle assembly experience.
• = Minimum 3 years forklift and crane operation experience.
• = Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and work unscheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Operate forklift, cranes, front end loaders.
• Drive delivery flatbed.
• Fill out documentation for kitting and cycle counting.
• Count parts and verify packing slips.
• Use basic hand tools and comply with OSHA safety rules.
