Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring for a material handler to receive, check in and process freight and move items to storage areas. The role requires forklift operation, crane experience, and ability to read English for work orders and safety docs. Expect outdoor work at times and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be PIV certified.
• Yard Tractor and/or Straddle Crane or comparable heavy machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English for assembly directions, Work Order packets and safety instructions.
• Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation.
• 3 - 6 months of material handling experience.
• Must have strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking in and processing freight.
• Deliver freight to warehouses or usage/storage areas and enter transactions in the system.
• Follow 5S standards for area.
• Move finished chillers from production areas to storage areas in the yard and enter data into the systems.
• May need to work in outdoor environment for extended periods.
