Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc, formerly Old Orchard Brands, is seeking a Materials Handler for the 1st shift at our Sparta, Michigan facility. You will unload deliveries, stage products, and help maintain organized inventory in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating forklifts and hand trucks, recording material flow, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards while supporting

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be detailed oriented and can multi-task.
• Must have excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and loads material within the warehouse facility.
• Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks within the warehouse.
• Records flow information of materials and products.
• Maintains knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
• Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
• Accountable for food safety, food quality and regulatory requirements for their position.
• Performed other related duties as required and assigned.
