Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 2025!

When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years. It will integrate clinical care with community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and an Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This system aims to establish a robust network of care for all District residents, especially residents of Wards 7 and 8, ensuring access to high-quality community care.

This hospital will feature 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an outpatient pavilion, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking a Materials Handler (Full Time)

• Receives, inspects for damage, matches quantities and quality to purchase orders, delivers, and moves materials.
• Provides timely replenishment of supplies to assigned par locations.
• Checks received supplies for accuracy and proper shipment.
• Maintains organized storage that meets JCAHO standards.
• Participates in stock rotation, inventory audits, and cleanup duties. Responds promptly to inventory inquiries or issues.
• Performs clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing, copying, and data entry.
