TPG is hiring a Material Handler for an exciting 6-month contract at a leading robotics manufacturing company in Waltham, MA. This is a rare opportunity to work hands-on in a cutting-edge R&D facility surrounded by robotics innovation, collaborating with a dynamic team that brings prototypes to life. Ideal for candidates with material handling or logistics experience in fast-paced technical environments, this role offers a high-energy workplace and fantastic perks like free daily lunch, beer Fridays, and on-site parking.
Experience in material handling, kitting, or logistics within an R&D or prototype manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, or similar) for inventory tracking
Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and using material handling equipment
Basic computer skills for communication and tracking (email, spreadsheets)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks
Effective team player with excellent communication skills
Prior experience working with robotics, electronics, or fast-paced tech build environments
Exposure to inventory systems or warehouse operations in prototype builds
Kit and deliver materials for ongoing prototype builds
Transport components, assemblies, and boards between inventory, build teams, and technicians
Return unused or completed materials to inventory with accurate system updates
Assist in verifying material availability and report shortages or discrepancies
Move materials between build, test, and storage spaces safely and efficiently
Contribute to improvements in material flow, tracking, and process efficiency within the R&D team
