Job summary

UpTalent in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Materials Handler to execute material handling and movement within the facility in compliance with established policies and standards.

The role supports production by issuing and transferring parts for production and assisting the Production Planner and assembly stores when needed. Shifts include Weekday Day and Night with OT, and pay ranges from $18–$27 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in inventory management.
• 3–5 years forklift experience.

Pay Rate: $18 - $27 DOE

Weekday Day: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) with some mandatory OT on Fridays
Weekday Night: 5pm - 3:30am (Monday - Friday) - $3 shift diff. with some mandatory OT on Friday night - Saturday

• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• Experience in inventory management.
• Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles
• 3-5 years of forklift experience
