Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Materials Handler to ensure timely flow of materials from arrival through storage or shipment, supporting production and shipping teams. This on-site role runs Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm, coordinating with manufacturing and logistics to keep inventory accurate and operations moving.

You will receive, unpack, inspect, stock incoming parts, post weights and shipping charges, and help maintain records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months-2 years of materials/warehouse experience.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and MRP/ERP familiarity.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, write clearly, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with cycle-counting and using powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment.
• Reliable, punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, inspect, and stock incoming parts and materials against purchase orders or invoices.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare goods for final shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
• Maintain records of received and shipped merchandise and document rejects or discrepancies.
• Distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines; perform cycle-counting.
• Operate material handling equipment and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Support variable schedules and overtime as needed to meet production demands.

You will work onsite on a regular daytime schedule (Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm) and coordinate with manufacturing and logistics stakeholders to keep inventory accurate and operations moving.
