Job summary

RealTruck, Inc. is seeking a Materials Handler to support receiving, stocking, and inventory control using powered industrial trucks. You will move materials, verify items against PO/packing slips, label stock, and assist with cycle counts and waste disposition as needed.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork to keep operations running smoothly across the site in Old Hickory, TN.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials from trailers; verify accuracy against PO and packing slip.
• Receive material deliveries; verify items and quantities to PO; obtain proper papers.
• Move materials to and from point of use; ensure product quality is maintained.
• Record takeaways or replacements of racks and totes; maintain neat inventory.
• Label products with part numbers, names, and quantities; rotate stock as needed.
• Receive returned product; verify warranty status; update WMS; prepare for disposal or return to stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory; conduct cycle counts; transfer product in system; investigate variances.
• Train other employees; maintain a clean and safe workspace; perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate company vehicle following traffic and transportation rules and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all departments and supervisors/leads.

Core Functions

• Load and unload raw materials from trailers; verifies accuracy against PO and packing slip.
• Receive material deliveries, verifies items and quantities to PO, and acquires proper paperwork.
• Efficiently moves materials to and from point of use, ensuring product quality is maintained.
• Responsible for accurate takeaways or replacements of racks and totes.
• Ensure product is properly labeled with part number, name, and quantity; rotates stock as needed.
• Receive returned product; verifies warranty status; updates WMS; prepares product for disposal or return to stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory; conducts cycle counts; transfers product in system; investigates and resolves variances.
• Train other employees, maintain a clean and safe workspace, other duties as assigned.
• Operate a company vehicle in accordance with established traffic and transportation procedures and laws.
• Communicate effectively with all departments and supervisors/leads.
