Job Summary

The Materials Handler under the direction of the Materials Manager, accurately support the daily operations of the production and maintenance departments by effectively receiving, shipping, inventorying, issuing and maintaining materials needed in the daily operations of these departments.

Job Duties

• Receive, process, and tag incoming material.
• Move to and inventory materials in their respective area.
• Issue parts to work in process.
• Maintain materials / inventory in accord with written procedures.
• Transport parts to respective work areas.
• Return cores and unused parts to inventory.
• Clean and maintain work area and inventory yard.
• Perform cycle counting as directed

• Follow all safety rules, keep work area clean, and comply with all OSHA and AITX Environmental, Health and Safety Policies
• Comply with company's Quality Program by following all in-house quality processes and procedures and required AAR and FRA rules and regulations as well as any client specific procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• High school degree or GED preferred but not required
• One year previous materials or warehouse experience.
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
• Experience in forklift operations
• Good basic math skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English language
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and physical
