Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Materials Handler in a fast-paced on-site warehouse in Carrollton, Texas. Join a diverse team with strong safety and customer service focus.

You will verify loads for delivery, load trucks, pick warehouse orders, and conduct DOT compliance audits. Experience with forklifts and clear communication with drivers and internal teams is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, unloading, picking, and verifying materials.
• Strong communication with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams.

• Loads trucks and conducts truck inspections.
• Picks warehouse orders.
• Performs DOT compliance audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Materials Handler at White Cap...

• Verifies loads for delivery to ensure customers have the correct product in a safe and professional manner.
• Loads trucks and performs truck inspections.
• Picks warehouse orders.
• Conducts DOT compliance audits.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, and verifying materials with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and delivery verification processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service, safety, and operational excellence
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities throughout the workday
