Job summary

Emerson is seeking an entry-level Material Handler I to support receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping RMA orders in a fast-paced facility. You will enter inventory data, assist cycle counts, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Training will be provided, and you’ll work with ERP systems to ensure accurate records. The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures while growing in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of warehouse/material handling experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Oracle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, pick, pack and ship RMA orders.
• Transport materials within the facility using equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.

Description

The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting daily material handling operations, including receiving, storing, moving, and shipping RMA orders. This entry-level role ensures accurate inventory tracking and timely material flow to support manufacturing and warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine material handling tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping RMA orders.

• Transport materials within the facility using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand tools.

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.

• Accurately enter and update inventory data in the ERP or inventory management system.

• Assist with cycle counts and support inventory control processes.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies.

• Follow standard operating procedures and complete assigned tasks and projects as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 0–1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment.

• Basic understanding of order processes is a plus (training will be provided).

• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred (Oracle experience is a plus).
