Job summary

Raycap, Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a hands-on Production Materials Coordinator to ensure material availability for production lines and maintain inventory accuracy. You will coordinate material issuance, receive and stage materials, and drive improvements in material flow with cross-functional teams.

The role requires SAP/ERP and Excel proficiency, strong organization, and effective communication. Monday–Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field or 2+ years in material coordination or inventory control.
• Experience with SAP/ERP and Excel is required.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail and strong communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in telecommunications or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous material availability for production operations.
• Coordinate issuance and replenishment of materials for production schedules.
• Receive, stage, and organize materials aligned with production plans.
• Address shortages and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
• Align daily with planning, procurement, warehouse, and production supervisors.
• Execute goods movements in SAP and support order closing.
• Investigate mismatches and root causes to improve material flow.
• Support 5S and waste-reduction initiatives and update work instructions.
