Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Fond du Lac, WI, is seeking a warehouse/ material handler to support daily production by pulling materials, processing transactions, and keeping accurate records.

You will organize material flow, operate basic material handling equipment, and follow safety procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of relevant experience and/or training preferred.
• Forklift Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prints pick tickets and performs computer transactions.
• Organizes material-pull sequences and relays information to Material Support.
• Ensures production schedules through timely processing and movement of goods; assists during peak times with equipment operation and computer tasks.
• Maintains clear communication with management and shift teams.
• Assists with continuous improvement, equipment evaluation, training needs, and interviewing.
• Monitors and enforces shop floor control systems.
• Follows safety procedures and PPE; identifies and corrects unsafe conditions.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and proposes changes to Materials Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
