Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC is seeking a Material Processor at our Michigan City, IN facility. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate processing of materials through the supply chain, from receipt to stocking, with emphasis on inventory accuracy and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires at least two years of material handling experience in manufacturing, plus proven ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of material handling experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience safely operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranes.
• Ability to pass forklift driving test.

Responsibilities

• Proper receipt, disposition, and stocking of incoming materials.
• Timely replenishment and stocking of materials for production processes.
• Timely removal and proper disposal of production scrap and waste.
• Internal Cycle Counting/Inventory Management – conduct all system transactions accurately to reach inventory accuracy targets of 98%.
• Support finished goods shipment, movement, and stocking for B1 inventory.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures in all activities.
