Westlake Chemical is seeking a material handler to ensure materials are available for production, move materials, wrap and tag completed transfers, and log inventory using DSI units.

You will maintain storage areas, support 5S practices, inspect forklifts, and assist with physical inventories while following company policies and safety rules. This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meet qualifications of job through education, training or prior experience.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Ensure that operating cells have required materials (raw materials, packaging, pallets, crates, and other components).
• Maintain packout, component, and packaging storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Wrap and tag production and transfers to the correct location.
• Record production completions and inventory transfers with DSI units.
• Assist with establishing packout priorities when assigned.
• Change material on machines in the manufacturing area.
• Monitor raw material supply to machines in the manufacturing area.
• Follow 5S guidelines.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Inspect forklifts and log information using appropriate forms.
• Comply with Employee Conduct and Work Rules.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
