Job summary

The Dixon Group in Westmont, Illinois is seeking a Material Flow & Inventory Coordinator to ensure continuous material flow by staging and moving raw materials and WIP, monitoring production constraints, and supporting inventory accuracy.

Role requires a high school diploma; prior material handling/manufacturing experience is preferred. Salary ranges from $27 to $30 per hour with benefits including insurance, training, and PTO. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in material handling, manufacturing, warehouse operations, logistics, or related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and move brass rod and WIP materials to production areas to keep Acme screw machines supplied and running.
• Monitor production flow and identify bottlenecks or material constraints; act to prevent downtime.
• Support cycle counting, physical inventory activities, and material reconciliation for inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with production personnel to communicate material needs and resolve flow issues.
• Maintain organized material staging and storage areas following safety and quality procedures.
