Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Material Handler in Milwaukie, OR, within the Structurals division. On-site role focusing on moving and tracking work-in-progress inventory through the manufacturing process, while maintaining accurate records and safety practices.

Responsibilities include transporting parts, entering data into tracking systems, and adhering to quality and housekeeping standards in a demanding production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing floor experience or material handling experience affording knowledge of the importance of part location tracking.
• Previous data entry and inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic ability to follow instructions, read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to attend to detail, resolve record keeping problems and work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds and occasionally up to seventy-five pounds.
• Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes and other elements for extended periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, track and document movement of work-in-progress inventory.
• Transport and move parts between departments per routing information.
• Enter accurate inventory, scheduling and location data into tracking system.
• Maintain daily logs, records and housekeeping in work areas.
