Emerson is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing and distribution by safely transporting and staging materials across the facility. You will help ensure timely material availability, accurate inventory records, and smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds safely.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, shipping, receiving, or material handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport products and materials throughout the facility manually and by using forklifts, overhead lifts/cranes, and push carts.
• Maintain accurate records of all parts and materials moving to and from storage locations.
• Count, weigh, and record quantities of materials and products handled.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Load customer orders onto trailers according to specifications and shipping requirements while completing required documentation.
• Unload, move, stack, stage, and organize products and materials by hand and with powered equipment.
• Maintain inventory and material movement records in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
