Job summary

Morgan Olson is seeking a Material Handler to accurately locate and deliver materials to fabrication or assembly areas in a timely manner. This role ensures uninterrupted production by following work orders and BOMs and by moving items with hand trucks, tugs, carts, or forklifts.

Successful candidates will read blueprints, verify materials, and report discrepancies while maintaining safety and quality standards. Prior material handling in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of material handling experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, BOMs, and work orders.
• Strong accuracy and sense of urgency.
• Basic computer knowledge for inventory and ERP systems.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver materials to fabrication or assembly areas promptly.
• Read work orders and bills of material to move correct items.
• Operate manual and electric material handling equipment.
• Open containers and load/unload materials safely.
• Verify materials and report discrepancies.
• Support safety and quality policies.
