About the Role

Expeditor, located at the Mt. Belvieu, TX jobsite for Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD).

What You Will Do

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials within the jobsite, according to production and shipping schedules.
• Examine material delivered to the jobsite for damages.
• Arrange on‑site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain status and location of materials.
• Monitor and control movement of materials upon arrival to the site.
• Act as a team player who prioritizes customer focus and satisfaction in all business decisions.
• Serve as a safety role model for the team.
• Enforce OPD and client‑specific safety policies and procedures on the jobsite.

Physical Demands

• Work outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
• Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs.
• Move the entire body, using arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending regularly.
• Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

Basic Qualifications

• One or more years of experience working with pipe, valves, and fittings in a gas plant construction environment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
• Willingness and ability to work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines.
• Highly motivated with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Must be willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job.
• Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment with a customer focus.

Preferred Experience

• Past experience working as a helper.
• Previous experience in supply chain and managing inventory.
